Satellite Dish is a social dining platform that connects users ("Liners" and "Apiys") for shared meal experiences. The platform facilitates meal invitations, applications, messaging, and reviews.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Treat other users with respect and courtesy
• Honor your commitments to attend scheduled meals
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not engage in harassment, discrimination, or harmful behavior

4. Payment Terms

Platform fees and charges:

• Lear creation fee: $5.99 (non-refundable)
• First Apiy selection: $1.99
• Second Apiy selection: $0.99
• Chat unlock fee: $0.90
• All fees are processed securely and are non-refundable except as required by law

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled meal time. Late cancellations or no-shows result in a strike. Accumulating 6 strikes leads to a 90-day suspension or a $19.99 reinstatement fee.

6. Safety and Conduct

Users must:

• Meet in public places for initial meetings
• Not share personal financial information
• Report suspicious or inappropriate behavior
• Respect personal boundaries and consent
• Comply with all safety advisories (e.g., no drinking and driving)

Violations of safety policies or abusive behavior will result in immediate account termination.

7. Background Checks

Liners (hosts) are required to complete a background check verification before creating Lears. This helps ensure the safety of all platform users.

8. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you post on the platform. By posting, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute your content as necessary to operate the service. You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without permission.

9. Disclaimers

Satellite Dish is a platform that facilitates connections between users. We are not responsible for the actions, conduct, or safety of users during in-person meetings. Users meet at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety and well-being.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Satellite Dish shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a safety risk to other users.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
